So. I'm Esme - Tomas' client experience specialist. Before taking on this role, I was familiar with his work. Okay, 'familiar' is an understatement. Truth is that I was OBSESSED. Still am. What he does just speaks to me, you know?

There's only one Tomas. No matter how sincere his intentions, there is only so much ground he can cover. ...and even if he is everywhere, he can only see one moment one way. That's just the physical part. The second photographer will also be recording glimpses how she or he sees them. That adds another perspective to the mix.
Tomas has super high standards of who he brings along to weddings. Only established photographers. No noobs, nobody from the local camera club who 'wants the experience'. No messing around on game day.

SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER
IT'S WORTH CONSIDERING A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER IF:
+ You have a large guest list, and want to make sure we get shots of everyone that's there on the day
+ You and your partner are getting ready at the same time in different locations.
+ You're wanting photos of the ceremony and reception styling prior to the arrival of your guests.
+ You're wanting more candid, unstaged glimpses. Especially at cocktail hour, when Tomas will be working on family portraiture.
+ You've got a lot of people coming, and you are going to set the dance floor on fire.
In most cases, the second photographer is a good idea. There's a LOT happening on a wedding day, and happening only once. A little added insurance is never a bad thing.

If you should decide to have Tomas fly solo, he is whole-heartedly up for the task (:

An engagement shoot is a chance for us to capture some really beautiful, candid photos of you and your partner in the location of your choice. No schedules, no dinner service...no worries. Just a some time to explore and reconnect. Truly the most precious.
Plus, if you're a little camera-shy, it's the perfect opportunity for you to practice being comfortable in front of the camera, in the lead up to your wedding day. Tomas is a master with posing (he teaches classes on posing!) and has a knack for creating the most encouraging environments imaginable. A session with Tomas has be called 'therapy' and 'soul food' by quite a few clients over the years.

You bet I do! I love me a destination wedding and in fact, was named a Top-20 Destination Wedding Photographer by Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Magazine in 2016. I shifted my focus to the Adirondack Region around that time when my son was born.
A million times YESS!!! LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, I'd love to be a part of your wedding day. Love is love and I'm 100% here for it!
If you and your partner are thinking of skipping the fuss and running off to do a private ceremony with just the two of you or a handful of your nearest and dearest, I'd be absolutely honored to document your intimate ceremony. Our elopement packages start at 4 hours coverage, so get in touch if you;'d like to learn more.
I cannot commit to a number BUT I am confident that you will receive as many images as it takes to thoroughly and thoughtfully tell the story of your day. Average over the years is 600-800 photos per edited wedding gallery, So let's say around there, give or take.
Firstly, I’ll send you a handful of sneak peek shots a couple of days after your wedding. 4 to 6 weeks later, you’ll receive a link to your online gallery and slide show to watch and relive your wedding day. This is when the real fun begins!
It will take anywhere between 3 to 6 weeks to receive your final wedding gallery. This fluctuates with workload and time of year. Rest assured that any wait is well worth it. We care about these images, and want you to see all of them is all of their glory.

Life is tricky and the unexpected is to be expected. The deposit is non refundable - it is what allows me to turn away all other booking for your wedding date. If there is a rescheduling of your date, we make every effort to accommodate. In fact, I shuffled 12 weddings from 2020 to 2021 during the pandemic. I'm always willing to work to the mutual benefit of all involved. As I've said from the beginning, communication is everything.
